Loved our tour with Captain Dwayne! It was fun, funny, informative, and beautiful! This is well worth the $20 ticket, and a must for anyone visiting the area for the first time. On a Saturday, arrive at 10 AM to get your tickets and reserve a spot. Senior discount for 62+ was a nice bonus!

I'm coming to the area in February. Anything to see this time of year or is it too cold on the lake?
I went the day I wanted to go and got there when they opened to see what time slots were open. I didn't want to make reservation because you didn't know what Mother Nature had in store. The tour of the lake takes 1 hour.
There is nothing on there website stating that they will be this season. Your best bet would be to call them and ask.
I would imagine around the fall foliage season when the views would be awesome.

You can show up and buy tickets,my wife and I did that a few months ago. It was really good. Just check to see if the roads are fixed first, a lot of them were washed out
