I needed a place to unwind and get away from stress. I felt like I had been holding my breath for a long time. I walked into the Butterfly house and took a breath for the first time in what seemed like forever. I was immediately at peace. The house is absolutely beautiful and designed to make everyone who walks through the doors to feel at home. The screened in back porch where I watched the Sunrise every morning and ate my breakfast. The garden with all the elephant plants. The hammock swings right by the garden. The fire pit where you can sit and hear the woodpeckers in the background. In the basement there is even a record player and lots of vinyl for the vintage music lover. Ping pong and air hockey and a golf cart for our use. The amount of time and thought put into this place was designed to make your visit the best experience ever!!! I got to share this time with my friend I have known since elementary school and had not seen in decades. Thank you, I left a much better person and I will definitely be back. KC

Rumbling Bald Resort is a hidden gem—very well maintained and loaded with staggeringly gorgeous wooded walks and nice amenities. Carolina Properties is an excellent and conscientious property manager—communicative but never intrusive, responsive and thoughtful. The Wildwood Vista house was impeccably maintained, clean, spacious, private, well sited, and loaded with small surprises that told us the owners loved this home and were generous hosts. The proof of our satisfaction is the fact that we booked the house again in exactly one year. By the way: Victory Cafe nearby is a wholesome place for simple lunch or breakfast.

We went to Lake Lure and stayed in this beautiful mountain property. It was very spacious with beautiful views of the golf course and trees surrounding the property. My favorite part was watching the deer feed in the morning and at night. The house can easily accommodate a big group and has two beautiful outdoor seating areas as well. The basement area and bar downstairs are great for entertaining. We will be back.💗

We send a customized digital guest book 29 days prior to arrival and again 7 days prior to arrival via email, so please be on the lookout for emails coming directly from us at Carolina Properties. On the day of arrival, we will send the same information via text message. We've gone paperless, so it will be important to view this information before embarking on your trip. If you don't see it and your stay is quickly approaching, please search your spam/junk folder in your email prior to contacting our office.
If the booking is made more than 30 days before your arrival date, a payment of 50% is due at the time of booking, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. If a booking is made 30 days or less before arrival, 100% is due at the time of booking. The credit card used for the first payment will be used to process the final balance and is automatically charged on the due date.
Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 10 a.m. We adhere to our check-in & check-out policy to ensure our team has the proper amount of time to clean, inspect and prepare your rental for your arrival. Our electronic locks will not open prior to the scheduled arrival time.
