Were do I start! They recruited me, I completed all onboarding requirements, went through two interviews, including having a meet and greet with the Adminstrator, and had a orientation date for May 19,2022. I get a call from Patricia(RN) stated I must come in today May 18, 2022 to explain my responses on medical assessment were I put (TBD) which means to be discussed. I was currently at work and requested could it be done over the phone she immediately decline that request. Stated it has to be in person. So I made it happened advise I was on my way. When I got there I was not only intergated, I was belittled, and I was 100% honest that I am a Survivor by the grace of God Of Domestice violence from 2003 to 2011 were the majority of my injuries occurred then. Patricia use that personal information to pull my job offer which she made clear SC is an at will state which I am aware of. I am no long a fit because of that. What about being morally and ethic fair? Patricia stated that adminstrator made this discusion to withdraw of my offer as well. That is hard for me to believe because my positive encounter with him. Remove bias from your hiring methods and honor once you give someone a career opportunity let their work ethics and performace to be the baseline of whether they fit for the job not their MedicalHistory. I have 25 years of experience in the medical field and my calling is to be of service to my community and all the people I encounter in my walk.

We had a wonderful experience with the Presbyterian Home in Lexington SC and recommend them without reservation. My 96 y.o. mother was a resident in assisted living and for a short time in the health care wing. The staff was wonderful to my mother! Everyone was genuinely dedicated to caring for their residents and patients. Her admission to the facility was expertly and compassionately handled by Leigh Ann. A special thanks to Patricia Beamer, Reather & all the staff on the assisted living wing! All the staff that cared for her in the medical wing helped us through a most difficult time, many thanks!!

I am the Residential Sales Counselor for Assisted Living and Memory Care. I have been at PCSC for a little over 5 months. What a truly great place to work. Our residents are amazing. Our staff is amazing. Having worked in the industry for many years, I can honestly say, you won't find a better place for your loved one.

Since her arrival at Columbia Presbyterian Community in Lexington S.C., our 92 year old mother has received the utmost professional and compassionate care. Her dementia illness has been treated with love, support and kindness from everyone in nursing, custodial, dining, maintenance, program, spiritual and administrative areas. We feel truly blessed to have discovered such a wonderful community to encourage her and to support us (her family) on this difficult life journey. Thank you Columbia Presbyterian Community for all you do! The Rev. Dr. Dennis and Angie Bolton Mr. Gary Bolton

The decision to move to another level of care (from patio homes or apartments to assisted living or health services) is based on a resident’s safety and personal needs. The determination is made after an evaluation of your needs by an interdisciplinary team consisting of you, your representative, doctors, administrators, nurses, and therapists.
One of the many benefits of residing in a Presbyterian Community is being able to live life the way you choose to. That means time to pursue new interests and hobbies or discover new talents. You may choose from a variety of regularly scheduled events and activities from weekly Vespers Services in the community to travel opportunities. Or if unstructured suits you better, there is plenty of time for quiet reflection or curling up with a good book. You make the choices.
Pets are allowed subject to the terms of the Pet Policy that is available upon request.
Financial guidelines require you to have assets and income sufficient to pay your financial obligations for living in a Presbyterian Community plus be able to meet your personal living expenses.
Those choosing residency must be 62 years of age or older.
Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is a Life Plan Community with residency options ranging from patio homes and apartments to residential assisted living, health services, and memory support. By choosing active living residency you enjoy a great lifestyle as well as maintenance free living. That means you’ll never have to climb a ladder, start a lawn mower or pick up a paint brush again. Then as your health needs change you will have the peace of mind of knowing that additional care is accessible.
The rooms are private and we do have a salon. Thank you for asking.
