I had a problem with getting my data from my 250HP Mercury to my Humminbird Solex. I called 4 different Mercury Dealers but everything they told me To do did not work. I met someone at the lake who told me about Don at European. I talked to Don five minutes and he told me what parts and how to install them. European will be my go to for my marine supplies. I called numerous times to get a part for my boat and didn’t really get any information except to email the parts department and I had general questions about the issue with my motor for the part to even see if it would work and never could get an answer really. It’s very inconvenient just to email about a part when you don’t really know if it will work or not. Got the part I needed just a few inconveniences.

April- not sure what you mean by "loses oil" (your engine is designed to consume oil for lubrication purposes). If you can contact our Service Department, we can certainly assist you with any any problems you may have with your 50hp Mercury. 864-421-0444
