My husband and I contacted North Georgia Timber to have them do a 50% thinning and to clear cut a couple of small areas on 25 acres we bought in the Fairmount area of Gordon County. Dewey and his guys all met with my husband on the property to go over the scope of work to be done. They were professional and did everything we needed done as discussed. They also made a new access road for us to get better access to the northwest corner of our property and cleared an area we hope to be our future homesite. The land was left in good condition for such a major logging operation, and they were prompt in finishing the job and the payment processing. I would definitely recommend their services.

This depends on the size of the job mostly, but a few other factors as well, such as existing access, quality of the timber, volume of timber, etc. We typically only operate our conventional logging crews on tracts 15 acres and larger, but we have a hand crew that can operate on smaller tracts for a fee. Please just give us a call and we can take a look for you!

Unfortunately, we can only operate on tracts 15-20 acres and larger due to the full size equipment that our logging crews run. Something that size may be best left up to a tree service crew, or small time land clearing/logging crew.
