I had a great time. Everyone was so helpful. But to find a book you must be computer smart. ( not I ) had to have help finding books. MISS THE OLD SCHOOL WAY.

Ran in quickly to print 2 pages, it's been a long time since I had been in the library. Impressed with the technology updates & capability of printing straight from my phone.

You can take Hwy 29 into downtown Anderson, turn right on River St, then left on McDuffie St, and the Main Library is on the right a few blocks down. https://goo.gl/maps/2EvSTUVyp9ffbEcA9 We also have a branch in Iva if that is more convenient for you.
It's free for legal residents of Anderson County, just show ID. However, if you have any outstanding fines, you will be required to pay the fine before checking out more materials. (There may be a cap on the fines. Ask at the circulation desk. The fines aren't intended to be a funding source for the library. They are there to encourage on-time return of materials.)
Yes there is a notary public at the county library.
The might... check with the reference desks
Wear a mask. No chairs for hanging out. Browse but only one person on an aisle at a time. They're doing several virtual programs a month. Go to their website and FB page. I just made a felt bookmark and a seed bomb. I also checked seeds out and planted them. Cool stuff going on despite Covid but mostly virtual.
There are some basic templates that are available to copy. Reference librarians on the 2nd floor can help.
They don't have any tables or chairs out at the moment due to the Co-vid 19 outbreak. They aren't even letting anyone use the study rooms. If you go, you have to wear a face mask and the only chairs they have available are for computer use with space distance between every other chair.
Call the library
Yes they do
Yes- VITA is. Call 211 (the United Way helpline) to make an appointment.
you can go on their website and look up everything that's available both here in Anderson and throughout the whole state
Start with SCLends software. Search for the title of the book. Click on place a hold, scroll down to submit, and the software will tell you if you were successful
(864) 260- 4500 ex 100 Or call 211 from your phone
Go through the library website or go in
I'd call and ask before you go
The main library will close at 6 pm on Wednesday. All branches will be closed on Thursday and Friday. We will be open for regular hours on Saturday.
Yes
Yeah there is a lot of different types of things you can do at the library on line.
I would think you could take them in to the counter and talk with someone. Just let them you would like to donate them.
Yes I do
