The food was good, but small in portions. We both were hungry an hour later. The salads and presentation were beautiful. Our server was nice but not very attentive. I felt it was a bit pricey but we ate on the deck and the view was beautiful. Our bill was $96 for both of us. I had the Cod and my friend had the pork chop and my cod was the special and more expensive than his locally sourced porkchop. We both had salads and I had water and he had a Pepsi. You have to order your sides extra. But yet the presentation was beautiful. See the photos.

When you come to the fork in the road, off hwy 9, hwy 64 toward the lake lure fire department, is this cute and lovely place to eat and relax. The pink dogwood tree, had pink snow all around. Simply a fun place to eat and explore.

So many things to love about this place! The drink menu is amazing, the food choices are stellar, and the staff is knowledgeable and awesome! I had the blue martini(think blue cheese and Tito’s dream drink), and it was delicious! My only problem as trying to decide what to order! It was obvious to me that the chef takes pride in quality creative food! I had the fried green tomatoes with candied burnt ends, the mussels, and the key lime pie for dessert! I will be coming back again and again to try everything I can. The Fitzgerald cocktail wrapped it all up for a perfect experience! By far the best restaurant in Lake Lure. Thank you!

I’ve been in the business for almost 20 years now.. it’s safe to say I like food and of course- people/guests. What John, the owner, is doing there is absolutely superb. He cooks and entertains guests… this is the way it should be. The reserve wine list is top notch. I always look at a wine list when exploring privately owned restaurants; to me shows foreshadowing for the food experience and let me tell you.. we’ve been there three times in the past two days and we’re about to head there now actually!!! The oysters and lamb will change your life. I personally could’ve done without the granola in the crust but that’s just my preference. Lamb cooked spot on- medium rare. You have to go! I’ll be back again very soon.. It’s worth the drive from Charlotte.

All the tables were spaced out when we went the week of Thanksgiving. Not crowded at all. Mostly to go orders but we dined it. You gotta ask for everything, they don't have anything on the tables.
