Do not go here!! Thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights! Pool was green, not even open obviously. Bath house was not that clean. No laundry! Owner was ok, not the best, not the worst. No wifi, no cable. Gravel road was hideous to travel into campground, and the signage or should I say lack thereof was awful. Just do yourself a favor and book some where else.

We camp here twice a month, rain or shine. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. There is a lovely inground pool which is amazing during the summer and the bathrooms have a shower as well! There's tons of open space and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! Its out of the way, so it's usually not crowded. A great place for a romantic getaway or just to unwind.

Went for the weekend with my daughter and son in law and all six grandkids. It was very rustic but that was great. Enjoyed it until the owners locked grandkids out of bath house so no shower could be taken. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am. It was 9 15 pm. The pool closed at 7 pm. I have never been to a camp site that the bathhouse was ever closed. The pool closed at 7 pm it wasn't even dark. Nothing for the kids to do after pool closed. Needless to say we will not return. The lady that met us as we drove in was very friendly. She was the camp host. But owners were very rude. The price was $40 a night, that was very expensive for nothing to do. I don't want to give it 1 star but I guess I have to. Btw., If it rains you will be in a field with mud puddles and slick red mud. I'm still washing mud out of everything. Drive should have gravel and maybe some where the puddles are so bad. Main thing is only two bathrooms 1 women and 1 male. And then to lock it so no one can use it!

This campground has beautiful mountain views. It is also close to Lake lure/Chimney Rock with tons of outdoor things to do. The owner is very nice and very helpful. They have a new salt water pool, but it is closed-- due to us staying in the off season. They currently have 8 full hook-up sites, 8 water/electric only sites and several tent camping sites. The sites are level and have gravel as the base in the RV sites. The bathhouse is nice and well kept. The picnic tables are weather worn, but the owner is in the process of replacing them. He made sure we got a new one when he got the first batch delivered. I have enjoyed staying here with my family and have recommended this campground to my friends and family.
