It's nicely set up, clean and organized. Everything is nice and easy to find, and the workers are generously helpful for finding things, and asking questions. Only downside is not a lot of people working the registers, so it can get backed up pretty easily.

I have had very mixed experiences with this store. Brian in commercial sales is great. I prefer to work with him any time I can. However about 3 weeks ago, I got a quote for drywall and needed it to be delivered. When I showed up to purchase it, the price had changed. I asked them to correct the price to what I had in a written quote. I am buying 22 sheets and a price increase of 1.50 per sheet doesn't allow me to purchase with a check. It took 3 managers and eventually Brian got everything straightened out but I was there for 20 minutes while different managers were called over. Fast forward to my delivery, the 5/8 sheets were delivered in fire rated x instead of regular 5/8. There was no time to have this exchanged as I had a guy onsite waiting to bring this into the house for work the following day. The additional cost for the 5/8 earlier that week was because they didn't give me the correct product for delivery. The visit a few days later was to pick up demo materials and I had a check again. 499.xx in materials. The cashier involved a manager which normally only happens over 500. Waited about 5 minutes. Manager approves the purchase and we move on. The cashier writes down my name, address, DOB and driver's license. I explained that was unnecessary to have DOB and that every check they have only needed DL and expiration. She Insists that they did it wrong. I would rather not have everything needed for identity theft written on a check and passed through multiple people at Menards. I will not return to this store. Other stores have not created obstacles for contractors and are generally a great experience. Brian is the reason I did not give one star but it's clear that the store doesn't work as a team.

We had a return and a receipt, we had only purchased one part of a two piece set, for full amount, which we were returning. (From the Forest Lake store) The customer support staff were helpful, even taking time to try to review camera footage to see we had truly only purchased one part of a two part set. The staff were friendly and worked quickly. (We had to go to the Forest Lake store in the end, to make the return, however the Blaine staff explained all the steps involved. Thankful.
