Last time I went there were no rules saying you can't and I did fly model planes there. I think it's OK, but rules may have changed so maybe check with the park management
I'm not sure but I was there a couple days ago and there's a small stream flowing along part of the trail. Hope this helps.

The posted rules for the park do not exclude fishing so it should be acceptable. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the park boundaries as there are two bodies of water in that vicinity but only one of them within the park.
