I was visiting family in Cleveland during Thanksgiving '21. I was downtown, having just run in the annual Turkey Trot 5 mile race. While walking back to the hotel near Playhouse Square after crossing the finish line, I saw a police officer turn on his / her lights, and pull over toward a person sleeping on the street. I'm not sure what I expected, but when the officer pulled out two Thanksgiving meals, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm not sure who was driving car 9451 that morning, and I'm sure others were doing the same elsewhere, but please thank that officer. It was a "wow" moment I will never forget. I’m not one to ever leave a review but officer delvecchio really helped me during my car accident. He displayed compassion, understanding and patience in situation where some of his cohorts were rather apathetic. Others should follow his lead.
