11/10! This is my Church! Well one of. I love it here. The intensity and the vigor that course through your veins. Some of the trails are a bit steep, so believe in yourself and power through because the views are always worth it. This peaceful spot makes you forget your only 15 minutes out of city limits.

One of the longest hikes that I have done couple times in the past was closed. Someone purchased the land and the sign said KEEP OUT. Definitely, without this hike it's shorter hiking distance in the park. I though it was not nice to keep well developed hike with benches and views away from public use by the new owner. I think purchases like that should be allowed ONLY with permission of public use hike!

Very nice out-of-the-way yet close to civilization hike. Easy trails and plenty of shade under the tree canopy. Perfect for a hot and sunny day. Parking is free, too. Only thing is, the restrooms were locked even though it was during park hours. Bummer. We had to leave early because of that. Great place to have a walk in nature but don't drink too much water! ;)

Beautiful hike. I love demonstration forests. I wish I were there when the thimbleberry were ripe! 😃 Well groomed trails. Be mindful that this has a lot of elevation change. It got my buns a burnin' at a couple points.

Sometimes they even have extra leashes there if you forgot yours.
No, this is a visitors site. You can hike there. No buying the trees.
