Cute little hike! Dogs on leash allowed. Some steep spots but those spots aren't very long distance wise, maybe 10-20ft. Nothing too difficult for the length of the hike. Some spots of the hike v'd out though so just pay attention to what turns you make as it isn't all marked. No one else on the trail on a Saturday at 1pm!

Love coming here when im down at that side of town!!!! Usually its beautiful but when we went last time it had a spookyvibe because of the smoke from oregon and north california fires (sept 2020)

Beautiful place to hike! Lots of trails and paths different ways throughout the nature area. Lots of small areas to stand and look at the scenery off the path!

The growing trails areas on the southwest part of the lake (Potlatch Hill Road) are great for short, scenic hikes. Local BSA troops have been doing trail work to extend these trails.

Not as far as I could tell there was a lake access spot near by with a large parking lot but you couldn't park it at the trail head that was more of a pull off along a twisty mnt road
There are no camping locations here. A person would not even want to camp here. Drive until you're in the National Forest and you can camp anywhere for free. It is only fifteen minutes east/northeast to be in the forest.
