My girlfriend use to live at the corner from the station we called because a car alarm was going off from 9:00pm and it was around 11:15pm at the time I called dispatch she said there’s a cop on the way we’re getting countless calls🤔 ok around 12:20 a cop strolled by looked at the car an kept moving. I would say we’re all in good hands if it takes these fellows 3 and a half hours to make it down the street. Oh yea and one night a neighbor and his girl friend wer probably arguing and the he was moving his thighs out their was literally 9 cop cars lined up the sidewalk. These individuals hadden’t concept of production. The only saving grace is they like to pull people over a lot An if your calm and have NO clue what they are talking about they may give you a warning, not like the ticket police state troopers

I calledat 4:30 am to find out road conditions because last night rt 209 was closed due to storm damage. I got a machine. No humans on duty, no one to answer call untill 8 am. Nice job, bankers hours. If they protect the way they serve. Stroud region is in big trouble

That’s a good question and having a non emergency number would prevent callers from dialing 911 in non emergency situations. The non emergency number was almost impossible to find even when doing a google search it didn’t show. The non emergency number is 570-992-9911 The web page is designed in a way that it is not clear and after 3/4 pages I finally found frequently asked question from there it was under a tab labeled something like “what do I do when it’s not an emergency” and even after that I had to read fine print for half a page before the non emergency number was posted. Just a thought why not post it clearly on your home page along side your other local numbers like fire cheif etc?
