Great atmosphere. Salmon… I’m a salmon lover and it was the best I’ve had. Crispiest top layer and softest middle I’ve ever had. Worth $40. Now, they served it over a rice with green sauce that I didn’t feel necessarily complemented the salmon, but the rice and green sauce were amazing!! So still 5 stars. Only complaint: my tomato bisque soup, though delicious, was lukewarm. Is that a fancy restaurant thing? It still tasted amazing and we were there graduation weekend so I’m still ok with it. We got the pretzel as an appetizer I don’t like pretzels, and I didn’t like it. But the cheese it was served with I ate by itself it was so good. I’ll be back.

We ate here for a little celebration dinner. It was very nice. We did not have a reservation and were able to get a table on a Tuesday night. However i would strongly suggest a reservation. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was really good. It is about 25 to 50 dollars for the entree. They traditionally do a four course meal and each course is a la carte. For 5 of us our bill was 200$. It could have been considerably more. Great place for an anniversary dinner.

I’ve always enjoyed the food here. It’s overpriced for what you get but it is tasty. Their bruschetta is delish and the soft pretzel is soooo good. I got their shrimp scampi this last time and the pasta was really good but the shrimp tasted… toxic? It was gross but overall the meal and drinks were good. Jose was a great server although the back server kept trying to take my food before I was done… 3 stars for the shrimp tasting weird and it being overpriced

Love La Jolla Groves! This place is a little bit of a hidden gem. It's never too crazy busy and the staff is always top notch. The food is always amazing and you can tell the chef takes great pride in their work. One of the best steaks I've ever had. I love the atmosphere with the lemon trees.
