Fun trail but be prepared. Water is a must. Probably a good idea to be in fairly good shape as well. It can be kind of rough in spots. After all you are walking up a mountain side. It does take a little more then 2 hrs to complete. My wife and I made the mistake of starting the trail around noon(not knowing how rough it was going to be) we had very little water and it was over 100° out. As I said earlier just be prepared.

Beautiful trail. Guardrails can be loose in some spots.

Great hike.. took us about 3 hours, but we stopped often to take in the view. Younger kids hiked it, but it is a moderate level. Rocks, views, small waterfalls, & great exercise.

Incredible hike at least near October 1st with peak color. One of our favorites. We went counterclockwise so went downhill during the first three quarter miles involving the steep rocks with hand railings and stairs and we had fresh legs. Pretty strenuous in this area but worth it, so beautiful. If you go clockwise, you'll hit this rocky steep area last which is doable of course, but you may not have the freshest legs in the world to tackle the ascent. Do not do in the rain (slick rocks). Also if you have bad knees or a bad back, this hike may not be for you going down (or up) the aforementioned rocky area even with hand railings to help. But we love it. Took us about 2 1/2 hours to complete.
