Dr. J J Shah and Meena Shah - I’d like to see one of you respond to this concern. I tested positive for Covid earlier this week for the first time. Unsure of how recovery goes after a few days in quarantine, I wanted to provide an update on my status. I believe I have a few key questions that should be responded to in earnest. However, as I write this, it’s been almost 24 hours that I am waiting for a callback from one of your doctors to follow through on an already paid phone consultation. I called your office 4 times since yesterday and every time I called, the main appointment coordinator assured of a callback/response but not a single doctor has responded yet. Your appointment person has punted to your Snellville office for this mishap. To me, you’re one Gwinnett Clinic and when you speak to the same patient four times in two days and recognize the patient’s voice and first name, it’s about time to stop giving excuses and personally seeing this matter through with twice the urgency and care. Atleast, I would do that if I was in your shoes regardless of my role. Urge you to review this concern and reset the patient and service delivery standards asap - just the way you did decades ago when you were growing the practice and cared for every little detail. There’s really no excuse for such sloppy service and no patient who is weak and fatigued should come under stress and call repeatedly or spend time writing this review. Thanks and really looking forward to hear back from one of you.

Yes, we always try to accommodate walk-ins! Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and afternoons Monday and Friday 2pm-6pm. However, we highly recommend coming by 12pm in the morning or 5pm in the afternoon for walk-in appointments so that our staff have time to verify your insurance. Yes. Any of our physicians and nurse practitioners can complete your women's wellness exam. This exam will typically include a breast exam and pap smear if indicated. Your physician or nurse practitioner will review the screenings appropriate for your age and health history.
We offer three types of annual exams. 1. Wellness exam (typically includes lab tests and a review of your health history) 2. Women's wellness exam (typically includes breast exams and pap smear) 3. Medicare annual wellness exam (review of health history and preventive care)
Our Johns Creek office is not open on weekends. However, our Duluth Pleasant Hill (3490 Pleasant Hill Road) office is open 7 days a week. The phone number there is 770-814-2870.
