Not sure how they got such good reviews but my mom is in there now as that is where the insurance company sent her for rehab. I am trying my best to get her out of that place. They missed giving her breakfast, the next day no lunch. They said it was error. OK but what about when they did not come in the room for 2 hours after ringing the nurse button over and over? I told her to start timing, the next day her roommate rang hers for 1-1/2 hrs. My mom finally called us and we called the nurse station to get them to go in there! They have nothing in place to verify they are giving the right meds to the right person and with them forgetting food, well it makes you wonder on that! The rehab which is what they are in there for, consist of coming in with a stress ball, sitting there while the patients works that the whole time they are on a personal phone call! Ummm that is not rehab that is laziness and failure to do your REAL job. Who knows if they are truly licensed to do there job. Oh and they would prefer you use a diaper or depends as they do not want to get them up to go to the bathroom because they are scared they will DROP THEM!

The facility is very clean and beautiful. Every staff I’ve came in contact with was joyful and able to provide me with helpful information with absolutely any question I had. Admissions was a breeze specifically with Stephanie. Highly recommend sending any loved one here.

My Family's Positive Experience, Part 3 (Final) I’ll close by praising the therapy team at Park Place. They are a bunch of Rock Stars! As noted above, what mattered most to my family was mom being in a facility with a robust therapy component. Park Place shines in this area! Mom received PT, OT, and Speech; she was on the schedule at least 5x per week. Jasmine leads the team and she is a master scheduler. I don’t know how she does it, but all residents receive a healthy dosage of services. We were thoroughly impressed with all the therapists and the folks that stick out the most are Will (PT), Leah (ST), and Kaitlyn (OT). You can’t miss Will. Unless I’m there, he’ll likely be the tallest person in the building. Will’s style was just what mom needed. He was assertive enough to push mom past her comfort zone in their sessions without wearing her out. He not only worked with mom but also educated and coached our family on how we can best support mom’s ongoing recovery. I am especially grateful for the transfer training sessions we had with Will. Because of the time he invested, we are capable of safely assisting mom in transitioning from wheelchair to car which is very useful in taking your loved one to OP appointments. Will truly has a servant’s heart and care’s for the individuals he serves. Leah was amazing! Having little familiarity with Speech Therapy, I can only imagine that Leah is the example that most speech therapists aspire to be. The passion for her work and love of people is evident in her interactions. Lastly, if my wife were writing this review, she would be raving about Kaitlyn. My kudos and testament to the impact Kaitlyn made is evident in the increased confidence my wife has for assisting mom in all things related to grooming and dressing. I realize this 3 Part review is a long post, but it had to be because so many people at Park Place showed my mother and family love and support during a very trying and hard time. I'll remain ever so grateful for the care we received and though I hope to never need the services again, the only place I’ll consider for SNF care for a loved one in the future will be Park Place.
