We had a Soil and Water Conservation workshop here to make local farmers aware of preservation means to keep their farms as farms and not change to subdivisions. Theres many tax advantages.

No, it is not haunted, but there is a fabulous family graveyard next to the homestead. It is an interesting piece of history run by some very knowledgeable and fun people.
I’m sorry, but I am unable to answer your question. We are the William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center. Although we are both part of the Harris family, the Harris Family Nursery is an entirely separate entity. You can reach someone at the Nursery Monday through Saturday 10-2 at 770-266-0334.
