Well after reading through some of the reviews it looks like "Mr. Spanky" should respond to this, so I'm excited to see what he has to say. I found this place from the reviews online, and from seeing the cars ripping around town. My first interaction with "Mr. Spanky" was in his classroom environment, a mandatory meeting for parents, to exchange all of our personal information and also contact information...and to sign a contract agreeing to his policies. He seemed OK fun loving comical quirky guy, which for some could be interpreted as immaturity.... He had classroom and driving time with the children. The driving time being one-on-one in some cases. He started the classroom time asking the children to write a review for his business. . . The first of many red flags was during a driving appointment he had to "run back to the office" really quick even though we don't even live in Franklin, and invited my daughter to come inside during this time. (She did not go inside) He also stopped for a milkshake during the driving appointment, yet only ordered 1, got 2 straws, and then told my 15 yr old daughter that they could JUST SHARE THE MILKSHAKE. Another red flag? This guy slid into my daughter DMs after 11:30 at night? Why? To notify her of a schedule change for the upcoming morning. Why didn't he call/text/or email me?! I KNOW I GAVE HIM ALL THE INFORMAITON AT THE MADATORY PARENT MEETING. Creep. I thought about writing this 1000 times, but I'm writing it now bc my next daughter needs drivers ED, and I can not stand silent about this guy anymore. RED FLAGS PEOPLE ~ Not appropriate behavior

Detailed and friendly. My daughter enjoyed the experience and is more confident for her test. As a parent, I was able to get good feedback that I can rely on, in case I was scrutinizing her too much.

Chris does an excellent job of connecting with the teens that take this course, which, in my opinion, is paramount to the success of a driving course. He has a friendly and honest way of engaging them in the content, actually making it fun. Both of my sons have taken this driving course, and my oldest who has been driving for 3 years is still accident-free! During the driving portion, Chris could not be more professional and timely with the appointments. He makes it easy to schedule at your convenience. Neither of my boys were nervous during the driving because Chris is so engaging and friendly. I highly recommend this driving course! Thank you so much Chris!

Spanky's is AWESOME! What an invaluable experience. The knowledge our daughter gained & relatable experience she was able to get from the on-road/around town driving lessons have been crucial in helping her to understand the rules of the road better. While mom/dad and family members practiced (lots of!) driving with her, it always helps to learn from a professional with so much experience working with teens. And she loved it too! Which almost never happens with things we sign her up for :) So win-win in our book. Highly Recommend!
