Horrible electric company. My bill has been incredibly high in the past two months, a 45 percent increase compared to the same two months last year. This for-profit company is taking advantage of people in the middle of a pandemic. If I had any other option, I would choose a different company.

I wish we had options for electric service so we aren't forced into being robbed by this joke of a company. $500 down payment or pay an extra $1 a day for flex pay and if you have a zero balance for ONE DAY they shut it off. Highly UNRECOMMEND. Thieves. Idk how these people sleep at night

If you're struggling....forget it! These people WILL NOT work with you at all on payments etc...even at Christmas time. Cold hearted and down right rude!! And as for your response to my above review....unhelpful and Snyde! Anything to jab that thorn in my side a little deeper, huh? Wait! Im confused...Not all of your google reviews (positive or negative) have responses for you....How do you decide which reviews to respond to? Ohhhh....that's right...the same way you decide which customers you can extend a little grace to and which ones you refuse to extend grace, while you add extra fees and turn off services over $30. You see, when one of your employees is discussing an account with a customer who is struggling financially and the employee steps away to make a phone call to your Brownsville office (to see if any options or assistance can be given or "grace extended" to that struggling customer) and then returns to report there's nothing that can be done to help the struggling customer.... that screams loudly that you pick and choose who you want to help!! Hmmm.....sounds to me that Southwest TN Electric enjoys playing a "GOD role" in the communities they serve.....Wowwww 👍
