My experience with Santek has been terrible. Their service is pretty reliable, but their customer service is horrific and their billing is incredibly dishonest. My household's bill should be just over $100 for each cycle, but they always find a way to try to tack on some kind of fee. They took over 2 weeks to deliver my trash can, during which time they charged me for pickup despite doing nothing. I am so glad to be cancelling with them. If you're considering Santek, save yourself some time, money and sanity and just call Eastside Waste.

This is by far the absolute worse waste collection company that has been our misfortune to come across. Wish we could rate 0 stars already reported them to the better business bureau. They never come on time to pick up trash, when they do they knock it over and you have to pick up trash in your yard. We canceled a month ago and they still haven’t came for their garbage can. And we still haven’t received our refund.

Driver pulled over and asked if he could only do 1 pickup a week instead of the 2 I pay for and despite my protest they have stopped coming twice a week. I call every week and they send someone out to pick it up 2 days late but this has happened 4 weeks in a row. Dispatch refuses to fix the problem and just says "they will note that the driver refuses to pick up" but then it repeats next week. The driver clearly doesnt care, and to top it off they started throwing my can in the ditch on its side after I called the second time. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

I had Town & Country trash service they were great Until Santek bought them out. Now I have the worst service ever! I put my trash out Wednesday night for Thursday pickup. My trash is never picked up in the last 4 months I have to call every Friday because it was not picked up on Thursday for them to come get it on Saturday and If I don't call they don't come at all. I tried that went 2 1/2 weeks with no pickup. Hopefully I will find a company that will pick up at my house. Quickly running out of options but still have a few more to call Until then I'm stuck paying a company that I have to remind to get my trash but there quick to remind me I need to pay them. The only reason they got one star is because you couldn't leave a comment with 0 stars.

Santek trash service is not worth a damm. I cancelled them a month ago due to poor service and they still have not pick up there trash can

It's usually the billing company that processes the credit card that is charging the fee

Best to get away from them quickly. I had the same problem. Had them for 4 months. They picked up my trash only 3 or 4 times in that entire time frame. They still charged me but didnt send me a bill. Never once received an account number or any communication from them. When I found out about the bill, I paid it, and a reinstatement fee. Went 2 months after paying fees and still no trash pick up. Not once. I had to file a BBB complaint to force them to correct the issue and cancel my account. Best to find another trash service in your area. Good luck.
My bill went up to 119.00 this quarter. That's 10.00 higher than the last.
If the truth is a terrible service ..... they raised my boat for me by their mistake and until now they did not bring it to me, they took it on October 25 and until now November 5 nothing that they brought and they already pay ... well paid and I losing .... no pos waoooo !!!!!! And I talk to them and they throw the ball to each other that they don't know anything .....! Until I finally got an answer from a very kind lady who is in the Cleveland office and told me it is better that you come by your boat, faster. HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!
That extra 4.00 was because you paid by credit card. I think its unfair to be penalized and the money is taken out of your bank right that minute...
