Rented campsite & purchased wood . Due to hurricane unable to pull camper through hurricane route. Refund was DENIED. Asked if we could use money paid towards cabin & changed dates for 1 day later ( Do to hurricane) Was informed yes. No pet policy (Thinking cabin are updated ) So we drove out of way to drop our small miniature schnauzer off with family. Then when website opened back up . We found out the cabin has NO running water !NO bathroom inside cabin! Must bring own bedding and liens ! What? Called back to request refund due to not informed of this. Was DENIED!. Not even refund for wood was offered. So if your there and need a load of wood Tell them It’s paid for and enjoy.lol Hope you don’t need sheets or towels. Do not recommend!

We stayed here for four nights. The weekend was very busy with lots of golf carts all day and night. The people were very friendly. There are a lot of permanent sites and several were not cared for very well. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the camp store is well-stocked. I teach online, and the internet was not good at all in the weekend. It improved during the week, but if you need internet, you might want to be sure you have a backup plan. Overall, it’s a nice campground—easy in and out access.

Yes, we are open year round. We do have limited hours through the winter months, but we are open.
check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 11am

They do have a max amount like 120 days, but i'm usually up there way more. They really don't enforce it from what I've seen. Ive been up there 3 years now. Now if you want to live there it is way different. Most people on yearly don't stay past 2 weeks without going home to check on things.
Starting January 2019 the rate will be $75 per night. Pay for 6 nights and stay the 7th night for free. We look forward to seeing you :-)
They do have heat, however they do not have running water inside the cabins. And they close all restrooms and shower houses except for the 1 at the store and the one at the laundry after Nov 1st until like April. It's a hike from the cabins to the nearest restroom.
Our yearly sites (used for recreational purposes) is $2600 annually. If you are looking for staying on a site full time, that is a monthly rate of $425 and we have limited availability for monthly sites. The campground is open year round and access year round to your camper. There are a couple options for leasing the sites at the campground. We offer monthly site rentals and annual rentals. Pricing is different for both. They do, I met a family of 3 a couple of weeks ago at the pool, they told us they were charged $25 for the 3 of them. They were not from Hancock but Berkeley springs which is why it could have been more.
We were there last week and the internet and phone had been wiped out by a storm and it took more than a week to be repaired. But they are there and it was a great campground.
We have 9 rustic cabins at the campground. They have a double bed and set of bunk beds, 1 table and 2 chairs, small refrigerator, AC and heat. There is a picnic table outside along with fire ring and water hydrant. Hope you come back and check things out.
