Meadow Lake Campground

It's a beautiful campground. And it's a good place to fish. Our family went up there to have a picnic and hike. We just did a day trip.

Meadow Lake is a beautiful high mountain lake. Campgrounds are nice. There's wonderful hiking trails all around. The lake is great for kyaking etc and had small trout to catch. There's beautiful rocky peaks that fill the skyline. Gillmore Ghost town is at the base of the road and it's very interesting and has numerous atv trails. Remember with the high elevation it gets cold at night.

Amazing place to camp and fish. I haven't been on the hike yet, but people told me it's stunning! The water pumps don't work, so bring water to drink. It can also get a little crowded, but the camp sites are spread out enough that it's not so bad. The fishing is great, but don't expect to catch anything too large. I highly recommend this place! It's amazing!
