Exactly what was promised! My friend and I came here and it's not only a free place to camp with some amenities, it's just a good experience all around. At first the place looks a little sketch, but Scar was a delight with a wonderful sense of humor & there were no problems with our stay. We stayed in Stiggles T Wigglesworth when before we had been sleeping in our car. Scar's the definition of a good Samaritan and I couldn't recommend this place more!

Great Campground. Pet friendly. So thankful for a nice place with electric hook up and pet friendly. Each spot is named after a Dog with pictures. WE PLAN ON COMING BACK. Love the big green Dog outside our Door.

We boondock 95% of the time and live in our camper 10 months out of the year. This was the most unique boondocking experience ever! It was HOT and we needed ac bad. The owner Scar hooked us up with a 30 amp site so we could run ac. Although I don't drink, there's a fully stocked community beer fridge loaded with all different kinds of beers and other drinks and Scar makes coffee every morning. Our evening chats with Scar and guests were unforgettable. PLEASE read his website and abide by his common sense rules! Thanks Scar! Will definitely stop by again when we're out your way!!

Read the website, if it makes you feel like you have to go then you will have the time of your life. If you think KOAs are awesome then stay at the one next door. Scar is a great host and someone I now consider a lifetime friend. We had the best time ever.

Questions & Answers

Should I go here or the KOA? Can I drive in, ignore the signs on private property and take a lookieloo? Why no phone number?

KOA is nicer, prettier and has grass/water. Honey's doesn't. Ignoring signs is called trespassing. Google isn't a phone book

is there a contact # or do I just show up and hope to get a spot?

No number for anyone who uses google as a phone book and doesn't read the website. The other questions would answer themselves had you used the website, including my phone number. Don't make me call your mom.
