I like going here, they are professional and to the point, even staying past closing time to help. Andrea did a great time handling my mailings for my business. She put on every label and taught me how to efficiently mail some of my items. Even though there’s a bunch of turmoil at the top with gov and budget, the local workers always kill it in their effort to serve the public. Thank you!

This is the worse post office experience I've ever had. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all, the service is slow. I called to make an appointment to renew my passport. I was told there was no need to make an appointment. I took time off from work, went there twice on two different occasions to only find the door for the passport office to be closed both times.I attempted to obtain information from the other post office workers regarding passport office and services, I was basically told that I needed to find out information on my own and I could easily find all information needed online. That may be true but why was I told to go there in person anytime before 4 PM for assistance and have no one to provide any? It comes to a service that is being offered to the community that seems that is not working or not being offered in reality or at a minimum if you are lucky. Save your time and make an appointment with the Town of Hempstead to renew your passport.

I've been here a few times and the service has been quick and helpful. However, there was one time when there was only one window open, which led to a longer wait time than usual.
