Older, clean motel. New owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable king beds available. We stayed 5 nights in order to see all the National Park and BLM sites within a short drive. There are also a couple good Wineries in the area. Try WildEdge brewery, including their food. The Main Street Brewery sucked.

5 stars for everything. Kelly at the desk was awesome. Although the room was older, it was great. Many many small touches to make it very comfortable. Great place. We only stayed a night before heading to Mesa Verde, but would definitely return.

First, the lady we spoke with on the phone about our reservation- very nice and friendly. We had a very late check in - around midnight and she arrange it nicely Rooms very clean - we like supporting locally owned businesses- so after reading reviews we decided to stay here I am currently writing this review at 5:45am - the same morning we checked in at midnight After winding down from our drive I finally got to sleep a little after one - and thought - ok 6 hours of sleep will be fine - but nope At 4:15am our neighbors in the next room decided to come back from wherever they were (no car was there at midnight or 1:00am when I went out to my car to grab some water) But - the neighbors decided they needed to smoke and talk above each other outside our window at 4:15am It woke everyone in our room up and I was wearing noise canceling headphones playing ambient sounds to stay asleep At 4:30am - I went outside to ask them to move and be quite - they went from one side of their door to other side And continued trying to talk over each other - so I turned on the ac/heater unit and put headphones back on - to no avail They are still going at it - and I’m wondering if calling the police will do any good - it’s now 5:50am and I’ve gotten 3 hours of sleep and have to leave in an hour The place is clean, dated, but very clean- staff I spoke to the previous day - extremely friendly - but I’ll never be back - I know it’s not necessary the hotel’s fault but there is no remedy other than going outside again and possibly getting into an argument or spending time talking to police and having lights and still getting no sleep They got an extra star for friendliness and cleanliness- but I just wanted some sleep- which I didn’t get
