Super 8 by Wyndham Carthage

This placed smells like mold and cigarettes on second floor. The AC didn't work properly. Holes in drywall. There was stains all over the carpets. I definitely will never stay at a Super 8 ever again. Overall the condition was unacceptable and disappointing. This place needs to a serious makeover.

Positive: The Price. Negative: The hotel had a musty smell to it. The continental breakfast was horrible. I choose the hotel because I thought it would have a decent breakfast. This was not the case. The bed was hard and the toilet would run on its own.

The proprietor of this location has gone a very long way to repair the damage done by the Super 8 in Joplin. His service level is without reproach.

This is was last choice option, honestly for a reason. The first room didn't have a sheet in one of the beds, and there was blood stains that had seeped through the covering on the bed. The second room was not much better, there was boogers, blood and some sort of mysterious brown residue on the walls and light switched. I didn't feel comfortable enough to shower. Just wasn't good, need to figure out their maid services.
