I’m not sure if our room had been cleaned before we arrived. There were crumbs and a black sock in one of the beds, a fake nail in the tub, and all of the fabrics were stained. There was jelly everywhere on the floor and on the chair, on the AC unit. I took some wet wipes from the lobby and cleaned a lot of the jelly myself because my boyfriend didn’t want to switch rooms or have housekeeping come in (we were already unpacked when we noticed the jelly). The toilet smelled horrible and smells wafted out of it all day so we had to keep the bathroom closed. So it wasn’t my favorite hotel but we actually liked the location a lot and the staff was nice.

In the morning I was looking for the hairdryer in bathroom drawers and found a syringe along with a spoon and drugs. Can't understand how this was not found by the cleaning staff. We took a picture and showed it to the desk clerk when checking out. She was shocked, copied the picture, and assured us management would reach out to us on the next weekday. That was 2 weeks ago. We have not heard from anyone. This could have been a serious situation if we had children with us.. we travel often and never had a situation like this.

I have to say that the room was decent except for the noisy neighbors but not too bad. The room was comfortable. What we had an issue with was breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be from 7:00 to 10:00am. We came down at 8:00am. The selection was extremely poor at best and when we asked if they had any more breakfast sandwiches we were told no they were out. How can you be out an hour after you put breakfast out? She wasn’t the most pleasant either. The juice was empty and never refilled. So you had a choice to make your own waffle, an egg patty in a paper bag, bread, or cereal. I understand it’s a complementary breakfast, however, running out of food an hour after you begin breakfast is not acceptable. We have stayed at other locations all over Wyoming and have never had such a poor breakfast.

This hotel is super noisy in the even numbered rooms. I felt like state street was driving through my room most of the night. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decent. The towels were nice. I just wish I could have slept!
