Supposed to protect All.animals won't invested animals abuse if animals are strays that are being abused. Supposed to check out the people involve. Regardless of.animals being a stary especially is someone's. Taking care of them and.is seeing abusive behavior towards them from neighbors and passersby. Pointless organization.

An organization concerned with all the animals in Nassau County who need help. They have a big heart for the animals under their care and find them loving forever homes.

If I could give it 1 star I would. I called In a complaint about my neighbors neglected dog. This “so called” detective called me back and said it just sounds like the dog is old. Excuse me !!! How do you know ?! that poor dog now has to live with abuse and neglect.

Phenomenal organization dedicated to protecting thousands of animals in the county and consistantly putting away those who harm them. Really proud of our county having such an extensive Animal Disaster Response program.

The Nassau County SPCA does not have a facility or mobile unit right now. Hopefully in the future they will. As a non profit they have been trying to rais the funds for a mobile unit to provide this service.
Unfortunately not yet
THE ASPCA is not on Long Island.
Our organization is all volunteer. We are always looking for volunteers. We do not have our own shelter. We do set up temporary disaster shelters for Nassau County though.
