Called Jim Roberts with new construction. I was inquiring about the omega 6 development, that had a property I was interested in. I wanted to double check on the nightly rentals/AirBNB bylaws. A realtor at town and country bear lake mentioned nightly rentals is okay, and that it was 3 years ago that it had passed. When I asked Jim, he became very aggressive and said “we allow it for now, but don’t be a mortgage on it.” I was taken aback at his aggressive tone and immediately apologized and said the realtor told me this and he went onto say “don’t listen to them, listen to me.” I apologized for upsetting him, and he laughed and I told him I would not be conducting business with him or sweet water.
