READ BEFORE APPLYING TO WORK HERE As a former provider at this site, you should *not* apply here if your interest is in PSLF or NHSC - human resources is notorious for not completing paperwork on time, if even at all. I have 3 formal complaints against this organization because of their failure to complete my PSLF form. Thankfully after several attempts and notifying NHSC of their non-compliance, they ultimately completed the NHSC form (though still, they have not completed their obligation to my PSLF verification). In terms of pay, it is significantly lower than other FQHC's - whether you're a provider or a unionized worker (which I'll touch on later). The hours typically will include evenings and weekends, with pay roughly 10% below the industry average for your respective field. You'll work longer, for less pay and in a work environment you may not like. In terms of the union, please visit 1199warriors on Instagram if you're curious what the relationship is like between unionized workers and management. They've had several letters from government officials regarding their mistreatment of employees, such as denying their basic rights and suspending employees for exercising their right to picket / peaceful assembly. One senior level employee actually became physically aggressive towards staff - information gleaned from the letter sent by a state senator regarding the matter. In summary, while any job is better than no job, this job is worse than no job. Clinically, the staff are very well-trained and provide excellent care (hence the sole star). However, the *administrative* management of this organization really warrant further investigation beyond my part. You will not successfully have your required documentation completed by human resources and will not achieve what you set out for, if your goals include (1) meeting PSLF requirements, (2) becoming and maintaining status as an NHSC scholar and / or (3) having an amiable relationship between yourself and management (especially so if you are part of the unionized work force).

Don’t go to this center ! When I went for my wic for the first time with my new born! The lady who assist me told me basically that my child was not going to make It far & will be hard to get called for a job interview because his name is difficulty to pronounce, which is really isn’t ! Maybe for her ! Dumass! (excuse my language because that’s how I really felt when she mention that to me !) is people out here with the weirdest hardest name in this world and are the wealthiest people and you got someone telling a parent that ! That was my last visit there I can tell you that much !

I have been coming to this clinic for over 30 years and I don't care what kind of appointment you need you shouldn't have to wait 4 months to see your doctor.. The clinic is getting so greedy that they keep on taking so many patients that your doctor can't see you until 4 months later because because of all the patients they're taking. it's all about greed not caring about the patients like they sign say is a caring place no it's not cause if you care your Patients wouldn't have to wait 4 months to see their doctor they don't want to see another doctor they want to see their Regular physician. On top of that security don't know how to mind their business when you're talking to patient advocate the security don't have nothing to do with patient advocate unless I was kicking her a**. And the staff has come become very unprofessional when it comes to speaking to the patients.
