They can not keep a consistent good doctor. Very unorganized and some staff are unprofessional and rude. They take forever to answer the phone also the wait time is ridiculous. Also you l have to make appointments atleast a month or two in advance they are always backed up. This clinic is going out sad

This review is regarding Dental on Central Ave in Far Rockaway After waiting almost a month for an appointment I approach the receptionist who asks for my insurance card After handing it to her she seems to want a reason to tell me I can’t be seen she asks for additional insurance information although she’s calling the insurance company I guess just to make me jump through hurdles I get the information which I know she doesn’t need she stays on with the insurance company for about 15 minutes when she hangs up she has me write the information I collected on a piece of paper which she throws away That should’ve been a red flag for me to leave but I proceed The dental assistant ask if I’m there for a cleaning and exam I say I also have two target areas that need special attention I go on to explain my problem in those areas she takes X-rays of the two areas and has me go on to see the dentist The dentist tells me to rinse my mouth with mouthwash takes the light looks in my mouth then calls me up to the computer screen telling me she recommends I see an oral surgeon and that she writing up the recommendation I immediately ask about my cleaning and review of my other teeth She says well I have other patients you’ll need to schedule another appointment After waiting a month for an appointment nothing was done and I was dismissed as if I don’t matter because she was more concerned with a numbers game See more patients get more insurance money while providing NO SERVICE This experience was not only awful it was hurtful

Where do I begin The doctors are always on vacation And when you do get in with the doctor you're in there for less than 5 minutes they don't care. And then let's talk about the nurses You'll never get in touch with the nurses because they never pick up the phone and they ask you to be in a list that's usually 20 or 30 deep because these nurses do nothing they're not on call they tell you to call back they're not on call so you never get in touch with them so it's hard to get your medication through them This is a serious problem! This clinic is so LAX and so uncaring and so lazy you're better off finding another doctor I've never seen anything like it before in my life you have a better chance of going to a clown college and getting seen and healthy than you are going to this clinic. Find some place else

Yes. They do. Try different dentists if you're not happy with the first one. When you make followup appointments ask for another one. From my experience, they're all as good as any dentist you've met previously. Addabo does not follow unnecessary rituals and ceremonies like the hospital I went to for twenty years. It isn't mandatory to take a C19 test every time you have an appointment. They didn't create entire departments filled with testers and ancillary staff who generated lots of income and need to be fed even though the need for their services is non-existent. I highly recommend the Addabo dental department. They will make unnecessary appointments (who doesn't? Mortgages and car payments and grocery and gas bills demand this protocol.) but they get the job done, with efficiency and expertise.
