Solo

We had a bad experience here. Staff is super friendly. Overall it seemed understaffed and they couldn’t keep up unfortunately. The cheese balls were still frozen inside. The yuca fries seemed to absorb an abnormal amount of the grease from frying - it was nearly inedible. Clearly this points to a fryer issue during our visit. Out of most drinks as well. The burger was fantastic so I’ll likely give another try to the place for that alone, though.

This was the most unappetizing meal I ever had. They have no concept of what mofongo is. The plantain mash was burn.. After I returned the first portion, I got the same garbage. Go to an authentic Puerto Rican Restaurant to get the real McCoy. One star for trying!

People were nice. Place is very clean, good explanation of foods and dishes. Pork was wonderful. The empanadas were fresh. Nothing sits under a lamp. I didn't try the bonbons but I wish I would have. Drank at Brink which is next door, good went great with the beer

We went to MashRoots for the first time because we saw on Facebook that there would be a live band and Brazillian dancers there. We were disappointed that we paid the $5 cover charge for the show only to find a DJ and NO dancers as advertised. The food was good though.
