You would have to call or look on their website. The dogs change on a daily basis due to adoption or what has been turned in.
Yes
I am not involved in that part of DCHS but I can attempt to find out and give them your name to contact. I am sure they would LOVE to have you Foster for them. Is it ok to forward your name to the Rescue Coordinator? Not sure how to contact you with any additional information. I have sent a message to DCHS but if you could PM me I will forward your information to the Rescue Coordinator. Thank You!
No, they send them to snips, I believe.
Our shelter does not provide such services for animals that are not in our care. You would need to find a local veterinary office.
Look on petfinder.com Type in zip code 29532
no
Probably over 13 . They have a sign saying anyone under 13 can't go back to see the dogs
No
Right now a good Samaritan has paid adoption fees thru May...
Currently the 'Secret Santa' is covering adoption fees. 😊
DCHS Outreach has three places that help with spay/neuter Snip, traveling mobile spay/neuter and Hartsville Sandy Memorial Animal Hospital. If you live in Darlington County, please call Darlington County Humane Society or message (PM) John N Pam Davidson. Hope this helps you. If you sent me a private message, I will try to get you the prices. Please contact the above people or me later. Thank You!
The shelter adopts out cats and dogs. They also take in cats and dogs that are surrendered by ownes. They do not do vaccinations or trim nails. Your veterinarian can do both or take to mobile spay/neuter or Car-a-vans or SNIP in Florence. Nails can be trimmed once a month. Hope this helps.
Spay/Neuter Outreach Program for Darlington County may be able to help you. Just PM John N Pam Davidson. There is a mobile unit that travels to different cities. Also Snip in Florence is open Mon - Thurs after New Years Day. They are a low cost spay/neuter center. Hope this helps!
Not long at all most of the time its same day
Yes. I'm in Darlington County...do I call the shelter or is there a different number for animal control?
Would have no way of knowing since l don't work there.
No
These people that work at this shelter are very rude !!
No they only open Monday Tuesday Thursday Saturday and certain hours. No appointment needed
Most are euthanized due to space even if they're healthy. If you have any other options, don't bring them here.
Mostly they take cats and dogs i have rarely seen a rabbit or reptile there but they have at one time. Best thing to do is call. Hope i was of help.
