They are normally on point with there service but I came today with an appointment at 12pm. I came in to renew my state inspection. 240pm comes and I hear nothing about the status of my car. The app says my vehicle will be ready at 230 but nobody is saying anything. I come to the counter to inquiry, told them, they go in the back come out and start doing other things, then comes back to the counter and is talking to each other as if I'm not even there nor did I ask them about my vehicle. Ask somebody else, he comes out and says they haven't even got to my car yet and I have been there for 3 hours and update on my car but yet guys is quick to keep a female updated on her vehicle that came after me. I was ignored and wasted my day, I could've went home or did other things. It doesn't take that long to do a inspection, especially if u had an appointment 3 hours before. And they was ignoring me when I cane to ask about my vehicle. Waste of my day

Workers were pleasant but I did not understand why one told me o needed a battery although he did not have equipment to test battery and wanted to sell me a battery. I took it to be checked some where else battery was good he was just trying to make a sale

I bought a Jump Starter but it didn’t work for me. I came back immediately and returned it to them. They refused to take. They told me they don’t refund the electric product, though they didn’t mention me during buying it. Most weird and stupid thing. I wasted my $111 . The worse thing is, they told me to email them. I emailed and gave them all of the documents. They told me they will contact with me soon about my issue. But it’s more than 1 week, I didn’t get any call or any messages. They just lingered the process and wasted my time. I’ll never go this shop anymore.

Tee, that's because they don't care about the customer at all. They just want to take your money and if you are not happy oh well there's always another person. Very unprofessional.

I don't bring my vehicle to this facility. The waiting time is always too long. I've had two bad experiences there. If you have time to spare and patience good luck.

Couldn't tell you. Cause small stuff like that i do it myself but cant cost much i recommend you get a set of tools and learn to do it yourself you can goggle anything these days and do it right big stuff i leave that to mechanics but yes you can save on small repairs
Sorry to hear that, but I was there at the front door standing with several others by 7am and they did open on time. I think they have to see people at the door to open.
Pep boy is expensive i recommend to go to my shop that i go to is call speedy shop on castle hill in the bronx the are good with old car and new.

Just walk in to Pep Boys and they will be glad to have you there. If they don't have what you're looking for I'm pretty sure they can find you a good one.
Yes, wait time is long for drop-in service because they are very busy. I saw this as a good sign. People trust them and prices are listed, unlike most small repair shops. Work was done on schedule or faster, after diagnosis.
On my car i put the brakes pads myself easy to do just try check on internet
