CVFC is a great place to become a volunteer. The relationships and skills I have obtained over the years from classes and my officers have been very rewarding. Although response time could be better, as a 100% VOLUNTEER company all of CVFC volunteers are dedicated to helping the public in their time of need. I look forward to spending many more years volunteering here and hope to see more of the community join so the company can keep striving for success.

Our tree got struck by lightning during a really bad storm. With in a few minutes there were 15' flames shooting up through the center of the tree. We called 911 and within 20 mintues they were here. They didnt just spray water on the tree they went as far as too set up a ladder and used a chain saw to cut in to the middle of the tree to try and save it. They did an amazing job and We are very grateful for there hard work as this tree is around 150 years old and one of my favorite trees on the property.

do not even bother to call because nobody will answer. they don't even protect the people. its so ridiculous, and make sure if you call 911 tell them to write down everything you said, because I had a stomach flu and they thought I was shooting up heroin and was oding. just be specific. they don't care about you, they care about them. thanks
