Great family trip for young and old alike. Sip hot chocolate and enjoy the Polar Express story and enactment while waiting for Santa to make his rounds!

A must for all ages!! I am not easily impressed, this experience is absolutely magical and blew both my and my husbands expectations away for ourselves and our 4 year old. Worth every penny. My daughter even got selected to participate in the action.

This was an amazing experience from start to end. The signing was on point, like broad way on a train. Each child was included in the performance by the crew, each person got an adorable bell from Santa, cookies and hot cocoa was provided after, it was amazing. I would happily do this again.

First Class are restored 1940's cars with individual seating, coach is more akin to a modern day commuter train car. All are decorated beautifully, so it is a matter of taste. I would say first class is a bit more comfortable for adult riders, I don't think chidren woukd know the difference. If you were traveling with a big group it may be easier to interact with each other in coach.
There is free parking at the station
We were on the train for about an hour. They perform songs, read the story, provide hot chocolate and go to the "North Pole". Santa gives everyone a gift.
Absolutely. Knowing now what it is, Iwould if I didn't have kids.
First class has reclining seats and gives the hot chocolate in a collectable mug. Coach does not have reclining seats and gives the hot chocolate out in a disposable paper cup
They give you a souvenir mug and stickers
The ride is 1 hour but is recomended to arrive at least 45 min before. There is a gift shop and snack's store. The kids can color some papers while you wait. It is highly recomended.
1 railroad plaza
Yes, back and forth on tracks and the north pole is set up out the window at one point. They stop and allow everyone to look.
Don't use the Troy Hill road address. If you pull right in front of the train there's a bunch of parking there and they will direct you where to go.
Tickets should b available upon first come bases, check the website for time&dates
There is no train to or. Between Phillipsburg or whippany. You may Be able to take a bus there
If you mean When does it leave then Google Polar Express Whippany NJ. You can check the dates and times and ticket prices.
Im sure they have something on there site weather/storm related, check there
I loved the cozier setting of 1st class. Way less crowded and easier for kids to enjoy the "show". The North Pole can be seen from the windows as we went slowly by.
Definitely do night so you can appreciate everything with the lights and atmosphere.
There is a parking lot on site. As far as train tickets, it is better to purchase them online before arriving at the train station so you are guaranteed a seat.
No it's already made but I think they just use water no milk
Show the parking attendant your confirmation
Yes
The train can hold quite a few hundred people but no worries as the actors are excellent and make you feel like the only car.
No, 2 and under can get free lap infant ticket.
Yes. Available before and after your ride.
There is a snack truck on the grounds but everything else requires a car ride
I believe it was 50
Got to hold an infant in arms, park your stroller for a bit. I'm sure the average parent can handle it
I'm pretty sure they have one of those lifts, but for most of the time they usually lift the person by hand just a few strong people to help the person / kid into the train.
It goes forward a mile or so, then goes backward past the original station, then goes forward one more time to finish back at the original starting point
Out and back only. Departure and boarding at same location
My daughter was sick last week when we were supposed to go and luckily they DID let us change dates!
Prior to departure
