Sandy's passion is to care for birds. She has always taken great care of our birds when we go away and they love her.

I volunteer at B&B 4 Birds. The bird lady is amazing. I'm blessed to be able to volunteer. I look forward to being a part of the journey for a Iong time to come.

Questions & Answers

How much would it be to adopt a macaw parrot?

Hillary A, there seems to have been some miscommunication going on since the rescue had been under the impression that the two Amazons had been surrendered fully with your consent. When you came to visit, the couple who'd adopted Babygirl were also there with her and even offered to let you take her back but you refused. You exchanged numbers with them and have been keeping in contact. The Amazons had been at the rescue for months and adopted out for quite some time already without hearing anything back from you. There was no "flipping" going on since the birds were not being temporarily boarded- something the rescue would have asked an exceptionally small fee for to cover housing, food, and any potential medical expenses. The two were just left there and so Sandy did what she thought was best for them and allowed them to go to people who loved them dearly.

Your best bet would be to call the rescue directly as they don't check social media to respond to inquiries.
