During my application process for the E-passport, I received a lot of help from the embassy staff and in particular from First Secretary Mr. Milton. Inspite of his busy schedule Mr. Milton personally helped me speed up the process. When we had e-mail communications, Mr. Milton was always very prompt in his responsers. I am truly impressed by the work ethics of all staff at the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the work that is done at the embassy.

Totally agree

Walk-in NVR is quickly than mail one. Yes they do same day if you submit your application in morning and pick it up afternoon.
Try calling closer to when they open in the morning, and try to get the front desk/reception, instead of a specific department (if that's what you were trying)
R u an idiot? Why r u displaying ur passport id in public.?
Were you able to fly? I'm in the same boat as you now.
sorry i don't know
The fees for NVR is 50 USD payable by money order addressed to Embassy of Bangladesh, Washington, D.C.
Lost Passport (MRP) In case of applying for reissue against a lost passport (MRP), you need to collect a report from the local police authority which covers the area in which you lost it and submit this report with your application for reissue. The report must contain the description of the lost item as "Bangladeshi Passport no...............". http://www.bdembassyusa.org/index.php?page=mrp-re-issue
When can pickup nvr after Submit form
10 business days. http://www.bdembassyusa.org/index.php?page=requirement-visa

Yes. Please send by mail.
Did you send it by mail? If yes, contact your post office coz sometimes post office takes time.
USPS saying it is delivered? But tracking is not, that means it's USPS's fault. They are notorious for losing mails. You may contact with embassy or better resend the application. And if you use USPS again take 1000 dollar insurance.
Yes you need the NVR
As per the new regulations by Bangladesh Govt, (Effective from March 29th, 2021) it is advised to quarantine for 14days. Thanks.
No
You should have minimum 6 month validate on your Passport to cross any International border. Airport authority will do exception and consider you or not that is totally up to them. By law you have to renew your prosport and then get a new NVR and then illegible to fly.
No.
It takes 45 business days for regular and 30 business days for rush delivery.

I believe you can't do everything online, you have to mail those attachments to their address or be there physically to submit along with online application. Website has information, however, sometimes unclear. It's semi-digital process you can say. Try to call their helpline, a rude lady will make your day unless you're very lucky! Best of luck!
Pls go to visit in Bangladesh embassy website they have all information or call at the embassy number they can give u correct information
Please browse the following web-link of the Embassy's website for details: http://www.bdembassyusa.org/index.php?page=instruction-mrp

They never answer their calls. Unfortunately you have to get all documents ready and come to the office. I would recommend staying in a hotel for a day or two as their turnaround time is normally 24 to 48 hours
Go to uscis pending case holder page at fc
1st of all you have to know how Bangladeshi people's works. ( Is who you know. ) If you are in USA obviously, and if you don't know any one then you have to go to DC or NYC to do your fingerprint. I don't think they have any relationship with independent background Checker company who can do fingerprint because they're so cheap they keep the cost to the minimum as possible. After all these people are here to make money not serving the people of Bangladesh. Even if you call them no one answer the phone even if someone answer the phone they don't properly talk to you if somebody speaking English they try to avoid them because they want you to speak Bengali which is I understand is best to go to their website and see what's the instruction say or get in touch with someone
Dear Mr. Ambassador, I am a Bangladeshi American and Floridian; my question is: how can I give Power of Attorney to my brother for my inherited family properties in Bangladesh?
Thik ache
Your question doesn't make any sense.
you can apply for it by mail, it will take 15 days for you to receive it back. the required document list is given on bd embassy website.
Call the Bangladesh embassy and get the website to download the renewal application. Fill it out and submit.
you can either do it online and get in two weeks or go to the embassy in person to get the same day delivery.
