I just had my wedding here! Beautiful grounds and facilities, we could not be any happier with the wedding and reception. I should also mention our caterers were Corcoran Caterers and the food they provided was excellent. Along with amazing drinks and wonderful staff.

Questions & Answers

Is it my imagination, or is the bird population of the area getting scarcer all the time. I must admit, I am providing only water in my backyard, since one of my adult children convinced me not to put food out as he feels it is safer for the birds.

I would think having food would attract more birds than just a birdbath. Do a Web search for information on how to have safe bird feeders in your garden. Also, why is your particular yard not safe for birds?

I have some very unusual looking birds nesting in a large oak tree in my front yard and I was wondering how I could get help identifying the species. I have good pictures.

In my Humingbird feeder there are big red ants. They must be crawling in from where the 'food' comes out as there is no other way in. I've seen ant 'traps" that hang above the feeder but that won't help, any solution to the problem?

I have a persistent woodpecker damaging the wooden trim around a window. We have refilled twice. How can I get rid of him once and for all ? Thank you.

If you are able to put a bird of prey decoy there it would probably help. Probably wouldn't be so attractive for the events though.... unless it's in a spot people can't see.
