The Lisner Auditorium is beautiful venue. You can pretty much see the stage from anywhere. Great acoustics. I would recommend visiting for event.

Yes streetside meters or parking garages. Hard to find streetside parking if you're attending an event.
Those lots close early. You might have to get your car out by 10pm
This isn't the Lisner - it's just folks who've been there.
There is also limited on-street parking. Short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro, though!
There isn't an elevator for the main auditorium but the lower section is handicap accessible
Concerning the standing, there are permanent seats. However people might stand for the band and block a seated person's view.
