marie glorie, omar and teresa are the worst people in the world and this apartment complex is the most disgusting dirty dangerous and mold infested place ever. living here will literally give you long term health issues due to the cockroaches and lead paint. live ANYWHERE else

I am sharing this review so that other people won't go through what I have living here. I wish I could give Lynbrook at Mark Center and Morgan Properties ZERO STARS. They do not deserve one star but I am forced to give them one. Ok, first of all, the so-called management is laughable. Omar, Marieglorie, (Lynbrook) and Teresa (Morgan Properties) are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. I hope you never meet them. Unfortunately, I have been a resident since December 2019. My hope is to improve my circumstances so I can get the heck out of here. My personal experiences have been so bad that I will be reporting them to the county for numerous violations. First issue is that I asked for a reserved parking space, which is $50. I asked for this because I work long hours and sometimes it's hard to find parking. No problem, right? WRONG. I made the prorated payment online as quickly as possible because I needed the reserved sticker. I used the wrong checking account and when I noticed it, I called the property manager, Omar. I told him what happened, made another payment, it went through so I thought everything was good. I went online to try and pay rent and it was blocked. I emailed Omar to find out what was happening. He did not respond. He had Marieglorie (she has been unprofessional and rude many times prior to this) told me that I was blocked because the payment for $16 returned. I was shocked because I went in and made the payment from another account and made them aware immediately. Well, she got rude again and got her manager Teresa involved who said that now I have to pay some service at CVS to make payments (for a fee, of course). This made no sense because I made them aware immediately and made it right. I even told them before it happened. I believe this stems from other issues that have happened: My HVAC system broke 3 times since 2019 and they did not want to fix it. I had to go on social media to get any help. Every time it broke, it was the middle of summer and very hot. My apartment has flooded twice since 2019 because no one was cleaning the back drain and when it would rain hard, my apartment would flood. It was always very late at night. They never offered to replace any damaged furniture or credit any rent for this happening more than once. The sidewalk by my apartment floods every time it rains and I have to walk in the grass to make sure I don't get wet from the standing water. Every summer my apartment gets infested with crickets. I have asked for help and don't get it. Crickets aren't dangerous but they are loud and I can't sleep. Folks, beware of moving here. I tried to make it right but they do not care. In fact, they make it as difficult as possible to enjoy your time here. BTW-Don't let Omar's future response to this review fool you. He has NO INTEREST in helping me because he refuses to respond to emails or help. Neither does Teresa or Marieglorie.

I would absolutely give this property zero stars if I could. I have been a resident since December 2019. I have recommended this property to others and now wish I hadn't. The office staff is rude, dismissive, and sneaky (yes you Marieglorie and Omar). The issue happened when I asked for a reserved parking space. I needed to pay $16.67 as a prorated charge, which I did. I used the wrong checking account by accident and realized my mistake. I immediately let Omar know and repaid the charge with the correct account THE SAME DAY! I emailed Omar and Marieglorie to let them know of the mistake so that they would be aware and see that I repaid the charge correctly with my other account. Now, Marieglorie and Omar REFUSE to allow me to pay rent the online with debit/credit card. Marieglorie has blocked me from paying with a debit/credit card and is trying to force me to pay extra fees for some service through CVS. She is punishing me and trying to make extra money for Morgan Properties. She might get a percentage of that money on the side, who knows? I'd love to investigate that. Omar refuses to help and will not respond to any of my emails. This is absolutely ridiculous that Morgan Properties and their so-called manager and account manager are allowed to act like this. I will NOT pay extra fees because Marieglorie has some axe to grind because of a $16 mistake that I fixed within 30 minutes. She's also mad at me because I called out her rude, condescending, and unprofessional behavior to her manager and she was forced to apologize, so now she wants to make me pay. The other issues are that my HVAC system has broken a total of 3 times since 2019 and they refused to replace it until I went on social media to tell people. My apartment has flooded twice since 2019 as well because they did not clear the drain behind my building. I also have issues with crickets and have been told they come up through the pipes because maintenance doesn't clear out the drains. My sidewalks flood every time it rains and I have to walk in the grass to get by without getting my clothes and shoes wet. These are just a few of the issues that I have dealt with. After this review is posted, you will see the standard response from Morgan Properties saying "we can't verify that you are a resident, please call...blah, blah, blah, because they doesn't want to respond or even help with the issues. The last time I did this, Omar called to say that these reviews hurt them. Guess what, their behavior hurts me because they are playing games and purposefully trying to cause me hurt and inconvenience. Please think long and hard about whether you want to move here.

Marieglorie always goes the extra step.! My payment was sent in twice and Marieglorie called to alert me of the mistake I made and helped me address the issue and correct the mistake. I can't express my gratitude enough for having such a kind and thoughtful person to come to my rescue when I needed help the Most!!! Thank you Marieglorie for going way beyond your job description and coming to my aid. If only more people in this world were as kind as you are, what a wonderful place it would be.

Questions & Answers

I will be calling city hall on them soon so they can be shut down . They don’t even deserve for people to spend their money on them . The people at the residents office & leasing office are the worst. Worst customer service ever.

I will also be calling city hall. They are so rude, non professionals, imaintainance are not timely manner, the front desk people at the resident center feels like they pay our rent from their pocket, the way they treat ppl is unbelievablely rude. they discriminate. They think since almost everybody that lives here is foreigner, they think everyone is fresh of the boat, they take advantage of people, they take people's money for granted and not provide a service every resident deserve because they pay money for it. City hall should really deal with them.

Yes - the restricted breeds for our Community are: Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow, Doberman Pincher, German Shepard or any mixes of these breeds.
