What an amazing and emotional experience. Could easily spend entire day here. Tram tour is the way to see it.

Questions & Answers

I am the spouse of a disabled veteran. I have a current military ID card. What do I pay for the tour??

Marcella Piantedosi | Oct 13, 2019
Guy Sykes | Oct 13, 2019

Arlington is free to enter and walk through. There is only a fee if you want to use the hop on, hop off tram that runs through the whole cemetery. It makes about two dozen stops at popular locations. But the fee is waived for disabled and a companion if you bring your disability placard from the car. Normal fee for the tram is $15 per adult if you have to pay but half price for military and veterans.

You cannot drive into the cemetery but if you go to the visitors center and tell them that you want to visit a graveside they will tell you where it is and where you go to catch the shuttle. They will take you to the section where the grave is and then pick you up when you arr ready.
