I lived in one of the studio apartments in the Potomac building for a year, and had an overall decently pleasant experience. Maintenance staff, the concierge desk, and leasing staff always went above and beyond and responded to me very quickly. You also can't beat the location. The cons: there's no AC for a solid month of April going into May, and then again in the fall, and it can be pretty miserable for that time. A fan won't make a difference. This is one of the biggest reasons why I didn't want to renew my lease. Also, there are no washers/dryers in unit BUT I never had an issue with finding an open washer/dryer in the laundry room.

I must say really bad experience with the leasing team. Please make sure you have everything in writing from them regarding the lease and make sure you sign the lease before confirming the apartment. They will give you false prices and false discounts to lure you in. The leasing team and manager are not efficient enough to do the job. So short story I signed a leased and got accepted. After a month a leasing person name Alana comes to us and says they gave us the wrong apartment and it was not supposed to be on the leasing site. So she decided to give us another apartment which was old and compensate us with 1-month free rent and $500 which was approved by the manager. Now Manager(Hassane) is making excuses for not giving the discounts and also our rent was increased by $100. Make sure you guys don't fall into such a trap and think twice before going with them. I made a mistake as I have no alternative now to sign another lease for another apartments because of these people.

Yes. The rent cafe system accepts both check and credit card. You can also pay monthly yourself or set up a recurring payment. Just keep in mind that rent is due on the 1st and is considered late after the 3rd of each month.
There is one laundry room in the first basement level that charges $2 per wash and $2 per dry cycle. I've never had anything stolen when leaving things behind, but my biggest issue is when the washing machine shuts down mid-wash with no refund. That happens only about one in four times I do laundry.

I think classic is all floor carpeted and the kitchen counter is plastic. The deluxe has porcelanato floor and kitchen counter made of stone
