there is nothing under the National Labor Relations Act that mandates an employer must provide breaks. However the US Wage and Hour division of the US Department of Labor sets forth guidelines. You should go to DOL's website. There may as Los be state guidelines that are overseen by the local wage and hour. For instance DC Wage and Hour.

If you work at night, are you supposed to get paid night differential pay?
