I'm sleep deprived, disgusted and miserable here... don't do it to yourself! I've only been living here 3 months. I waited over a month for a 5th floor unit just for me to pack up my life and they not have my unit available right before my move. I had no where to go with my daughter and had to settle for a 2nd floor unit (where I don't particularly feel safe). I regret it everyday. My child and I haven't gotten more than 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night because of the constant noise trembling through my apartment from my neighbors above. I work remotely and it goes on 24/7. I specifically asked leasing if there were hard wood floors before I took the 2nd floor unit and was told NO just to be placed under pure ignorance with hardwood floors! The walls in my apt shake so bad that several of my pictures have fallen and been ruined. My daughter is not staying awake in school and now wants to live with other family members just to get sleep. I should not feel miserable in a place i pay to call home. Do not move here!!!! This is my second home in southview and third rental with southern management and my second bad rental experience. No matter how many times i call the rental office and security to resolve this (leaving my info with an actual person) i never get a call back. Nothing has changed even after calling "security" several times. I've been ignored since i signed my lease and paid my deposits (go figure). I'm basically paying to be miserable, kept up and then scared out of my sleep and into anxiety, in my home. I'm embarrassed to have guest over to see how the offices plaster people's personal info in eviction notices, on the fronts of the buildings. It doesnt look good or feel good to think that they are quick to take your money and quick to tell your neighbors and strangers where you live and what you owe, but cant be concerned with us any further. A community center is advertised and i was under the impression I'd gave access but its been closed since i moved in. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I'm embarrassed to have people over listening to the bowling alley im living under 24/7. My building has caught fire and I've evacuated twice with 3 months. It's infested with huge flying roaches and fruit flies have plagued the building and my apt for almost 2 months. The laundry machines malfunction during use, my neighbors constantly throw dirty diapers, glass and other trash onto my balcony and in front of the property and they are still there to date. The cleaning women huddle in front of the building doors for hours and mean mug you when you need to get pass. The buildings water will randomly come out yellow. It ALWAYS smells of dog urine, mold and old mop water in the halls and it's nauseating. Rent here is to high not have access to what's advertised and in my lease. Too high to be miserable where I lay my head, for them not to call back, email, use clean water or carpet fresh. I'm not sticking around to wait for the mice and mold I've seen in my neighbors homes. I was really hoping for a better experience for me and my child but we can't even get a good night's rest.

This property doesn't need a star its crazy how I have been out of air for over 24hrs My AC went out yesterday around 10AM I called the rent office, and no one have not come out yet and yesterday was a heat wave, not only that I have health problems and I cannot be in this hot unit, when I called yesterday, I told them my health problems. I asked for a portable AC unit, and they are talking about they don't have any more. So that mean is everyone don't have AC Southview apartments need to step they game up because when the tenants are the ones that pay your salary. oh yeah, I still have a lot to say not just Southview the owners too who are Southern Management! I talked to Brain at the rent office today 8/5/2022 and the sound of his voice told me he did not care!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! This place has no sense of urgency what so ever! It’s really sad they make tenants go weeks without air conditioning when it’s 100 degrees outside. The whole complex just needs to be shut down. I’m only giving it one star because I can’t post without it. TRASH!
