My girls go to this beach every year, they like it there.

Not a huge place . But was enjoyable .

The beach is kind of small but there is a wonderful platform to sun bathe on. There are lots of boats that like to dock nearby. Good place to kayak. Good family place. Kid friendly. No animals, no coolers, no lifeguard and no alcohol

Michigan DEQ checks weekly. Along with all public beaches in Michigan. You can view the closed beaches on their website. If/when vbtwp gets a close notice from deq, the beach is closed immediately. It will be on the fb page and a huge sign will be posted at the front of the park. The beach can't be reopened until another test is done showing the levels have dropped. The fb page is van buren township parks and recreation.
It is open
I only been to that park once for a picnic. I didn't explore the park while I was there.
Daily passes: $5 for vbtwp residents, $7 for non vbtwp residents. Summer season(annual pass):$15 for vbtwp and $20 for nonvbt. Senior citizen annual:$8 regardless of residency. It's per car not per person and there's no other fees to go to the beach. Daily passes are good for the entire day so you can come and go as you would like.
Yes, I've seen plenty of people in the park area with their dogs. Not sure if they're allowed on the beach though. It's a really small beach, gets crowded quickly
There are grills and picnic tables and benches and pavillions, etc. in the park area but not on the beach. It's probably crowded today. I would bring my own grill just in case
no dogs are supposed to be on the beach but ppl do it anways lol
Yes is open
Yes is open
The beach is closed for the summer. The park is still open. $5 a day for residents. I think $7 for non residents for the day.
They are finally repairing the road that leads down to the beach!
Not sure, always go on boat..think it's free
I have seen several dogs at the beach
For everyone just diff cost depending on where u live
Not there but there are 2 DNR Launches for Belleville Lake. One off Rawsonville Rd and one off Huron River Drive in Belleville. If you have the State Park pass on your car, then its free.
No, unfortunately it's not. It's owned by van Buren township.
Yes
Should be fine
Not that I've seen or know of. It's more of a beach kind of park than so for hiking. It's big enough to take long walks and you might find a trail or 2 that leads off somewhere but they aren't really for hiking
Anchor it on the sand bar
I have a small dog so as long as I have a leash on him He is allowed?
Hi there. I actually work at the park. Yes, there is a fee. It's $5 for vbtwp residents & $7 for all nonresidents. If you'd like to get a full season pass, it's $15 for residents & $20 for everyone else. This is per car not per person. Also, it is cash only, there isn't a credit card machine.
Pavilions are $90-$100 for vbtwp residents and $110-$120 for nonresidents, depending on which one you want. The township only does all day rentals, no partial day.
The restrooms will be opened next week. They are locked and winterized until the weather warms up. Unfortunately, if they open them too early the pipes freeze and burst.
