The epitome of inefficiency.Giving even one star is is a laughable overstatement.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered with 24 years of active duty service. After activating my prescription, then waiting a day before going to the pharmacy, I had to wait 45 minutes for them to tell me my prescription will not be ready until after 2 days. Within the first 20 minutes of waiting, they only helped 3 people. I am so extremely disappointed in the Fairfax Health center.

This is the absolute worst health facility I have ever been to. First, the doctor said she would only see me for one issue at a time and I would have to schedule another appointment for each issue not even taking into account the rest. Second, the doctor left the hospital without warning and I have been unable to make another appointment until a doctor was assigned to me. This has been months now. When I asked if there was someway I could make an appointment I was told to call the nurses of the other primary care managers. I called 10 times over 5 days with no reply. I called patient advocate to voice my concerns with no reply as well. Both lines were left several messages. The front desk will either hang up on you or tell you their system is down. I haven’t been able to see a doctor in 3 months because of this. The only thing I have access to is the emergency room. This facility is the most unprofessional, uncooperative, unresponsive facility I have ever had the unfortunate circumstance to attend. Do not come here. They will not care for you at all.

Don’t advertise closing at 2000 when you don’t let people in starting at 1945.

That's been a perennial problem. I wrote to the pharmacy head about 3 years ago. Disgraceful service! Better service available at bases but they are not close by.
You need to go to the kiosk just outside the pharmacy to scan your ID and get a ticket number. Then when the number is called, go to the desk and they will help you.
I don't know about your Dr Merino but I have learned after literally a lifetime of military Healthcare, no one can ever expect a specific doctor to be there tomorrow. IF the doctor is active duty military their assignment to a specific location can change at the needs of the Army, US military. The same can be said of civilian caregivers. I have had a few doctors who have told me of new assignments coming up, which I do appreciate, but it is never expected.

Carol, like many, you are assuming that the pharmacy reads these questions; however, This is not a web page for the pharmacy at the Fairfax health center. This is just a search return for Google. Questions are answered by the community. The community is the public at large. (other users of the service like you and me) Like any government program, it's practically impossible to get an answer even if you have the right phone number. And we won't even get into customer service.
Flu shots are being given by appointment only and you have to be assigned to the clinic.
