This was just an awful establishment. The day before arriving I received an email from the hotel indicating that I could check in at noon versus the normal 3pm. When we arrived, we were told that was incorrect (yet the email was from them). We arrived back at 3pm only to be told that our room was still not available, and that it would be available at 4pm. We arrived back at 4pm and our room was still not available. In addition we needed an extra night, and our total doubled (we were planning on 2 nights and moved to 3). They fortunately were able to correct that error. Upon arriving to the room at 4:35pm it still was not clean. Walking around in the room without foot coverings on would have been seriously detrimental to your health and some sort of disease likely would have been contracted. And flies (around 10 of them) were flying around the room. The room absolutely reeked of smoke, and as normal travelers we bring our own pillows, which we now have to replace as they just are stench ridden from smoke. In the early morning I had a panic asthma attack and my eyes got puffy and red. We decided we could no longer stay there as it’s borderline non-habitable (we wouldn’t even let our pets stay there). The owner of this establishment should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. If Motel 6 corporate knew of the condition of this hotel (calling it that is a farce), they would revoke the flag. It is that bad. Do not stay here.

I stay here a lot. The people who work here are very nice and kind. The rooms are clean and sanitized. Sometimes there is a wait at check in for a smoking room but it's not bad. They have coffee in the morning and there is a store right across the street. It's a great place to stay.

Don't bring your kids or leave anything unattended or go out at night without a way of defending yourself. The pool was green. But, I was left alone which was nice because the other motel 6 in town makes you leave your room everyday so housekeeping can inspect and 'clean' so the privacy here was really appreciated.

Ok yes I have complained before about this particular motel and still stay, I have no choice literally but the night office staff literally was rude when I complained about the CONSTANT pounding throughout the night. Here it is, the same people, doing it again as I type this message. Ok I have seizures and lack of sleep sets it off. Tell them to be quiet it's your job. You could be liable if something happens. Its 3 nights in a darn row come on. People do sleep you know. Have some respect. UPDATE MARCH 26TH 2022: Okay so now after returning to this particular Motel 6 on Hawthorne we were told that they won't rent to us anymore for breaking certain policies, and when we asked what policies they straight up to our faces said "I can't tell you that." What??? Over the past 6 months we have had no choice but to deal with the black mold, leaky toilets and sinks, rude employees, leaky smelly ac units, needles and garbage all around the outside (my sister spent her day off cleaning up trash outside and not even a thank you or acknowledgement) people coming up to my door tweeking, waking up my kids at 4:30 am knocking at the door, some lady was in my sister's car trying to steal stuff, money was taken off my husband's card and the manager Aaron Snow couldn't give us a straight answer why and refused to give it back. He told me one story and my husband another story. He told all his staff to not give me the owners name so I can try to get my money back. Need I say more, I mean there is a lot more but me having seizures because of stress isn't worth it. All I can do is hope this review is taken seriously, these people are all parasites. Please don't trust them and their rooms. My husband also told me that they failed to disclose certain information about a room that they rented to us shortly after something happened in it. That can't be legal. I will be searching and the poor conditions of the motel will be reported. Don't stay here people please. I would rather stay in a tent, at least camping is fun. Hope this helps.
